Symptoms of depression to be mindful of:

Irritability (especially over small issues)

Loss of interest or pleasure in favorite/normal activities

Insomnia

Excessive sleeping

Restlessness

Fatigue

Loss of energy

Sudden/dramatic weight loss

Sudden/dramatic weight gain

Excessive cravings

Loss of appetite

Sadness

Indecisiveness

Decreased/limited concentration

Slowed thinking/action

Memory trouble

Unexplained crying spells

Reduced sex drive

Frequent thoughts of death

Thoughts or plans of suicide

Worthlessness

Apathy

Anxiety

Procrastination

Guilt

Withdrawal

Anger

Paranoia

Compulsiveness

Self-medication

Overuse of internet/entertainment
